How does it work?
Card Guard has an agreed process with major Banks, Medical, Private Health Funds and Major Retailers which enables us to request your cards are blocked, cancelled and reissued (where the card Issuer permits). Typical cards include, Bank, Medical, Loyalty and General membership.
Why don’t I need to provide card numbers?
We’ve developed a process with card issuers that doesn’t require us to provide card numbers in order to cancel or place cards on hold.
What happens if I lose my cards or they are stolen?
Just call us 24/7/365 or use our website or App and we'll contact all the card issuers on your behalf and request your cards are blocked, cancelled and replaced where possible.
Are we an insurance company?
No, we offer a card assistance service to cancel, hold or replace lost or stolen cards.
Do we offer financial assistance for credit cards?
No, but most banks offer this if you have a credit card.
How safe is my data?
We protect your information by using industry standard 128-bit encryption using SSL (secure sockets layer). It’s the highest level commercially available.
